When creating your show, you’ll have the option to add Audio tracks, Videos and Images to display. Once you’ve created a group you just tap on ‘Track’ and you’ll have the option for any of these. Select whichever you want to use and then you have the option to add from ‘Files’ or ‘Library’. Files will be from you files on your phone or files on the cloud. We suggest always creating a go-to folder on your phone/cloud that you keep all of your show files in (it makes organising much easier). You also have the option to add from ‘Library’. This is a folder iQ Pro generates automatically of previous files you’ve used already in the past for other shows or files you’ve already purchased from us on the app.
IQ pro is only currently available on iOS devices. But watch this space - android we’re coming for you!
Easy - the same way you would connect to a tv or video wall. If a wired connection is being used from an HDMI adapter output on your device, just plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the projector. If you’re going wireless, then make sure you have you whatever you’re going to be streaming to (ie. Apple TV) is connected to the projector first and share your device screen to that.
We get it, sometimes things change for whatever reason and you’ve got to reorder your show. This music track, No it needs to go there, that magic trick has to happen first….and so on.
To reorder your existing show you can move individual tracks, transitions or even whole programmed groups around simply by pressing and holding the cue/track/group, wait for it to highlight and then drag it to where ever you need it.
Pro Tip - if you are likely to be making changes to your shows often and you use a lot of transitions - you may want to program your shows in groups with this in mind. So you can reorder and take those timed fades/video cues along with you nice and easily.
You may want to use the live camera feature in iQ Pro (Magicians and Musicians love this feature). When programming your show, just select Track and there you will see an option for Camera. You can then choose which camera you want to use, Front, back, wide and ultra-wide*
*- As long as your phone model has an ultra-wide camera
Don’t forget to add a transition to the camera cues for a professional look!
You can program your device’s camera to go live and stream on your screens at any point of your show. So strap your phone to your guitar and show everyone just how you nail that riff!
You sure can. We have a number of audio tracks you can choose from to use in your shows. Tracks you can loop too to suit the length of your performance. You can buy these with credits that can be purchased in the iQ Pro app.
Go to the Store tab on the bottom of the home page in the app where you can browse and purchase an audio track that will then be saved to your inbuilt app library to use in any of your shows.
You can also import any of your own music files you may have on your device.
So, let’s say you want to fade in a video (this is the same process for audio & camera). Program first your video then tap on ‘transition’ and select ‘fade in’ and move that command to above the video in question. Set the ‘Fade Time’ on the slider and click on the ‘Apply Fade to’ button to select which tracks you want to apply the fade to.
This is the same process for Fade Outs as well as Crossfades although with crossfades you’ll have two options to select which tracks you want to crossfade from as well as which tracks you want to crossfade to
You can select any amount of tracks you wish to add the fades to.
Had you asked me this a few years ago, I’d have said no. But, technology always moves forward and this is certainly the case for Bluetooth. Bluetooth 5.0 (long range) is a different beast altogether with connection capabilities that are outstanding as well as being able to be used over long distances. Check out this Distance test video of iQ pro cues being fired in a theatre using a flic button with long range Bluetooth.
You can easily export a show by going to your main ‘shows’ page and selecting the show you want to export. Just press and hold the show of your choice and you will be given the option to export the show (this can take a few minutes depending on the size of your show) and then choose where you’d like to save it. Personally we’d recommend saving a show to the cloud so you know you can get it anytime should you ever loose your device. Why risk losing all of that effort you’ve put into creating your perfect show!
